We worked with the client’s designer and contractor to bring the concept for this elegant steam shower to life. A Custom Template Created For This One-of-a-Kind Bathroom
Once the tile work for this shower was complete, we took meticulous measurements. With the dimensions in hand, we created a physical template (i.e cardboard, wood, etc.) materials. to ensure as tight a fit as possible for the angled ceiling panel. Next, we sized the door, support panel, and transoms above the door, which not only added to the elegance of the design but served an important function for proper air circulation.
A Luxurious Steam Shower Experience
The homeowners were excited for their new bathroom to include an option for a steam shower, so we wanted to make their experience flawless. We ran the glass enclosure the full height up to the ceiling to seal the steam in. A pivoting transom panel above the door serves to let the steam out when desired. Proper ventilation is essential to prevent mold and mildew.
We seal the enclosure with clear silicone around the perimeter, and use vinyl seals between the glass panels to keep the water and steam in during use. Proper sealing of the enclosure not only prevents steam from escaping but also helps to maintain just the right level of humidity and temperature inside the shower while protecting the surrounding area from moisture damage.

Did we mention how beautiful this bathroom is? Theclear glass enclosure was punctuated with colors matching the existing fixtures in the bathroom. It features classic and elegant brushed brass hardware.
The ladder pull handle compliments the fixtures inside the shower enclosure, as well as the faucet for the free-standing bath. The resulting look is almost regal as it gives a golden feel to the fixtures. And to add to the feeling of royalty, your eyes are drawn upward to the incredible golden halo light fixture in front of this shower enclosure.
