Commercial Windows, Glass Walls, and Doors in Montclair, NJ
When it comes to a complete renovation of both the interior and exterior of an office structure, nothing beats glass to bring a stunning design to an otherwise ordinary building. When you’ve taken over an existing building and are transforming it into your new office location for your company, there are many considerations to plan and details to execute.
The design and materials speak volumes about the impression you want to make on your clients and in the community itself. From the moment your customers pull up to your new location, what will they feel and think about your company? The materials you choose can paint a picture of your brand, your expertise, and the customer experience they can expect.
Think all medical offices look alike? Take the opportunity to attract all the right attention with the clarity and versatility of large windows surrounding the exterior, and glass walls and windows dressing up the interior. It goes beyond letting in the light – glass brings the outside in, and helps your company meld with your neighborhood.
New Medical Office in Montclair
We recently completed a renovation of a medical building in Montclair. For their latest office location, they wanted a whole new look inside and out. The large span of glass windows on the exterior of the building instantly invites you to look inside. Our client’s goal was to establish a new medical office in town with a modern and clean appearance that complimented their welcoming personality and brand.
We’re Experts At Teamwork
At Suburban Glass, we welcome partnering with a team of experts. As in many projects, we worked closely with the architect to value engineer the building envelope of this new medical office, as well as the glass office partitions inside. Not just for an attractive appearance, the use of glass in the design was an essential part of increasing the value and long life of the building.
We also teamed up with the contractor and the building owner to pull together all the elements of their dream medical office. This included paying close attention to their choice of color palette and goal of creating a warm and welcoming environment for their patients as well as their staff.
A Strong and Beautiful Exterior
For this project, we replaced every existing exterior window around the entire building. The custom exterior insulated heat treated glass was ordered fromViracon. We worked closely with the architect to create the specifications necessary for the framework. To accomplish our goals, we we used an Old Castle Building Envelope front set thermally broken storefront framework in a clear anodized finish.
Glass Interior Design Sends a Message
Visiting a medical office can create feelings of anxiety for the patients, so the owners wanted the warmth and visibility of glass walls and doors to create an open and inviting atmosphere. We installed 14 all glass partitions, both swinging and sliding, with locks. Reception area, office spaces, and waiting rooms had nothing to hide with clear glass walls, creating a trusting environment in a fresh, modern, and professional space.
Suburban Glass enjoys bringing our years of expertise to both commercial and residential projects and working to fulfill your design goals.
